Nuclear weapons force people

There is a religious dimension to nuclear weapons.The
ability to set 100 million people on fire across the
width and breadth of a continent in less than an hour is
as close to godlike as the human race has ever
been.
Putin's announcement that Russia has
developed a missile that can change trajectory and foil
any defense demonstrates that the nuclear arms race
is alive and well. Communism may be discredited, but the
engines driving nuclear weapons, high IQ and ethnicity,
operate. Nuclear
weapons have forced the United States to
endure a terrifying vulnerability; total
destruction in moments. Neither Churchill,
Roosevelt nor any other members of the "greatest
generation" had any inkling of the risks they were
helping to force on their progeny. NUCLEAR WEAPONS AND THE
BLUE-EYED PEOPLE argues that
nuclear weapons do not and cannot bring security to
the blue-eyed people who have had, until very
recently, an immense economic advantage over the rest of
the world.
Russia and China have demonstrated that
they have gifted engineers. They have made America
vulnerable. Because they have demonstrated that they
have the ability to maintain a continuing nuclear
threat, America should accept the inevitable
and admit that there is no defense available

any inkling of the risks they were helping to

can, through nuclear threats, neutralize the
advantages that a large economy has in the
development of conventional weapons. North Korea
is a small poor peasant society. But because
Koreans (like their East Asian neighbors the
Japanese and Chinese) score very well on IQ
tests that measure quantitative abilities, they
may present a credible nuclear threat to the
UNited States. The
fact that North Korea would also be destroyed in
a nuclear exchange does not change
the basic truth that nuclear weapons
constrain the United States in a way that
would be unthinkable in a non-nuclear world.
The blue-eyed idealist will not invade
North Korea to kill people to introduce
democracy, if North Korea can hit
California with a nuclear
weapon.
